  1. Locating and Discovering through our Nature Connect Tours. Contribute to the understanding of this woodland parks in Saskatoon. Aid scientists globally with your observations.


  2. A walking tour, an excursion to have a chance to encounter one of the many animals found in this semi-wilderness park area, and experience the legacy of the Green Survival Program - Saskatoon's amazing foray into afforestation and nature-based solutions to climate change. These areas are truly laboratories in ecological succession.


  3. Turn Back the Clock, experience pre-historical findings of the Pleistocene Ice Age era. Go backwards in time, and experience the early footprints and the very first trails through the afforestation areas.


  4. Revel in the extraordinary life and legacy, and the people behind the afforestation areas. Discover the stories of Richard St. Barbe Baker, his challenges, and the amazing journey he took around the world, with many ties to Saskatoon. Listen to stories about B.T. Chappell, a city builder who was honoured for his impressive contributions. Hearken to George Genereux's dream, his personal affliction and how he adapted rising to distinction.


    • The afforestation areas are open all year round for all season adventures. There are offered guided tours for any groups of individuals. Book your guided tour ahead of time so a date and time can be mutually arranged.

    • Trail map pamphlets provided.

    • With notice of tour request a pamphlet provided about theme of tour.

    • There are no buildings nor facilities in the afforestation areas, so unforeseen weather events should be discussed.
